REFLECTION OF FIFTH WEEK OF TEACHING PRACTICE
REFLECTION OF FIFTH WEEK OF TEACHING PRACTICE
(January 31 - February 5)
This was the first week in which I started taking online classes from home. Due to some covid issues, our HM had informed us for not coming to school for four days. So, we got an opportunity for taking classes from home. It was really a challenging factor for many of us due to network problems. But we successfully completed our task.
On January 31, we reached school early as usual. But our HM informed us for leaving school as early as possible due to covid issues. So, we left school by 11 am. There was no online classes conducted in this day.
On February 1, I took two online classes. The first class was on chemistry (chapter - water) for 8F students at 2pm to 2:45pm. It was really a nice experience. The students interaction made the class more success. Then, at evening 6pm to 6:45pm I had a physics class for 9A and 9E students. It was really a repetition class. The students participation made this class interesting.
On February 2, I had class for only 9 standard students. I had taken a physics class for 9A and 9E students at 11 am to 11:45 am on the chapter "Work, Energy and Power". The students had replied to all questions and the interaction made the class à success one.
On February 3, I had only class for 8 standard students only. I had taken chemistry class for 8F students in morning at 10 am to 10:45 am. The students actively interacted in the class and students had showed the previous day' s homework also.
On February 4, I had a class for 8F and 8H students at 1:45 pm to 2:30 pm. In this day, I started a new chapter " Fibres and Plastics". The interaction of students made the class a success one.
On February 5, I got a chance to observe class of 8 A, B, C and D students conducted by Sreelekshmi at 6:45 pm to 7:30 pm. It was really an interesting class and the interaction of students made it a success one.
This week was really a unforgettable one. But the experience one get from offline classes can't be achieved from online classes. But it was really a different experience.
